Sorry for Missing

So Sorry for missing the last couple days (weeks).  Ahh!

Life has been crazy!  I feel like there has been little to no time for my blog and I hate not keeping up with mine or reading/commenting on some of my favorites.
I was on vacation and then returned to the passing of my husband's grandfather to trying to buy a new house we were interested in.  I can't keep up!
After all the family events coming to an end and missing out on the house, my search continues and I am back to my normal routine.
Sometimes life gets in the middle of everything and it is hard to keep up.

We become so busy with our everyday lives and sometime it gets interrupted for more important things.
But with this post I am back!  Hope everyone is great and I can't wait to get caught up on some blog reading!

What is in the Beach Bag

Trina Turk Beach Towel
Monogrammed Hat
Book- That Night, Chevy Stevens

I am in love with this tote and the color options are endless.  It is perfect for the beach. You cannot go wrong with it.
Now a day on the beach isn't complete without a great printed towel, a hat, and a good book.

What is always in your beach bag?
Are you reading a good "beach read?"  Let me know I will need a new book soon.

Nothing Beats a Day at the Beach

Or in my case 5 days at the beach.  Sorry I have been missing on the blog lately, but I was on vacation.  It feels so good to say the word vacation.

I can honestly say that the beach is where I belong.  In my college years during the summers I used to set alarms to get up and head to the pool or beach, now I set an alarm to head into work.  What is going on here? (I guess its a grown up thing)

So anyway, this past week I packed up my bags and headed to the beach.

Traveling over the Bay Bridge felt great, just to get over to the eastern shore was so exciting.

I was so ready to get to the beach (Ocean City) and put my feet in the sand.  Now Ocean City is not my normal beach trip, but right now anywhere is sand and sea works for me!

We walked the Ocean City, Md boardwalk one night.  That is one spot for great people watching!

But all I wanted to do was put my chair in the sand, relax and read my book.  Nothing is better!  Just to sit and do nothing felt so great.  No work, no problems.

But all good vacations seem to come to end, at least for now.  So when leaving OC, I drove up through Bethany Beach, Delaware.  Bethany is one of my favorite places, I spent 21 summers there growing up and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Bye totem pole, bye beach.

So with that I head back home and back over the bridge.

And now the hardest part was today.  Heading back to work on a Monday.

I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday and had safe travels. I really can't get over the fact that it is July already.  Does anyone know where this summer is going and why so fast? And what do you all think about the larger pictures?

Whats in My Bag?

Her

So I really enjoy the Whats in my bag post from other bloggers.  I have decided to do one of my own.
I love to organize and it shouldn't be a surprise that I make sure my bag is organized too!

I have a system for organizing my bag, which makes it easier when switching my bag in the morning.  I use what I call "little zip bags."  These little bags are great and keep everything neat and together.  It feel like one of the worst feelings is when you can't find something in your bag.

Here is what is inside:

Here is what you can usually find in my bag.  Wallet, book, sunglasses, change purse, and all my "little zip bags."

This Marc Jacobs holds my Kate Spade card holders, which are perfect for gift cards and your license.

This Cinda B "Happy" bag is a favorite of mine.  This size and shape is wonderful in any bag.  This is where I have a couple pens, a nail file, really a place to put things that don't stay in the bag.  I move things in and out of this one.  Like earbuds and more gift cards.

The polkadot J.Crew "little zip bag" is a catch all for things I need all the time.  Hand sanitizer, hair ties, kleenex, lotion, and a mini sewing kit (you never know).

This JPK holds all the lip glosses and lipsticks.

I don't know about you all but I hate when my things move around in my bag and I can't find them.

How do you keep your bag organized?
